The Club has 50+ members and provides radio communication for a large number of local events, including: parades, lake events, MS charity bike rides, walk-a-thon's, field day, and local Ham-fest's, etc. Most important is our EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION SUPPORT for Local, State and National needs.

The Club has two Repeaters, the 146.620 - 600 PL 131.8 which is the Club's main repeater and is located high on Black Metal Peak near Parker Dam. This repeater is linked to repeaters in Kingman, Laughlin and Willow Beach as part of the MCARS System.

A second repeater the 146.640 - 600 PL 156.7 is our secondary repeater and it is located in the Emergency Communications Center at the Lake Havasu Police Station, providing a second repeater source for the Club members as well as an immediate back up communication system to support our local law enforcement. This repeater does not have as wide a coverage as our main repeater but provides excellent coverage throughout the city.

The Club has a General Membership Meeting on the third Thursday each month at 7:00 p.m. except for, June, July, and August. The meetings are held at the Lake Havasu Yacht Club, 631 London Bridge Road, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86403.

The Club issues a monthly newsletter "STATIC" to keep everyone up to date with the happenings in the Club. Submission of material is invited from LBARA members and other interested parties. Input for the Static should be submitted to the Club Editor no later than the 1st Wednesday of the month.
