The National Weather Service/Las Vegas has put into operation a Weather Station, frequency 162.400, (Marine Radio Channel 2) to support the Lake Havasu Area. This station runs 24 hrs around the clock with weather reports as well as weather advisories (alerts). The Station is located on Goat Mountain close to the Lake Havasu Airport, so reception in the Lake Havasu Area is exceptional.
