This section of the web site will provide you with some "Fun" do it yourself projects that will give the opportunity to try your hand at building Antennas. These projects not only provide you with some effective Antennas for your inventory but help you learn all about antennas and there importance to your station.
Some of these are great when you go Camping, Fox Hunting, Providing Emergency Radio Service or just traveling around the country.
The Club has had Fun Antenna Projects in the past building antennas for Fox Hunts and Emergency Operation Type Antennas, stuff you can throw in the trunk of your car and they are very effective.
The ARRL Antenna Handbook is a good source of information and gives you just about all the basics for building Antennas. Amateur Operators armed with this information get pretty inventive and are always looking for an effective and ecconomical way to build them.
